Stage4Life Presents: Dinner & a Movie!!!
It all begins Saturday, May 9th at 5:30 at Taziki’s Collonade in Birmingham, AL. After dinner, we head to the Summit AMC Theatre by 7:15 to watch the new Michael Jackson Documentary. Stage4Life covers all costs of the meal and the movie for Cancer Survivors and their Super Hero Supporter. We have 6 center asile tickets and will purchase more if needed. Let me know As Soon As Possible so we can get a head count. Taziki’s will need to know how many are coming and also how many extra tickets we need. Email me at lee@stage4life.org. TACO FEST!!!!! Sloss Furnance May 17, 1-7 PM
From their website: Taco ’bout a lot of fun! Bare Hands, Inc. invites you to the ninth annual Birmingham Taco Fest, featuring Birmingham’s top taco vendors, dessert vendors, music, dancing, community arts activities, farm stand, and art market! Come and join in on a taco-tastic time that is packed with family fun, food, and lots of flavor! As a cultural and culinary experience for attendees, Taco Fest creates awareness of the many restaurants and artists that are proud to call Birmingham home. Proceeds benefit the arts nonprofit, Bare Hands, and our mission of collaborating with individuals and local communities to create immersive arts experiences and arts education programs.
Early Entry tickets get you into the event at 12 (noon) before the gates open for one full hour of early access to food and beverage vendors, the art market, farm stand, community arts activities and covered seating areas! You can also watch the Taco Judging, which starts at 12:15 p.m.! Buy now because there is a limited number of these tickets and they will sell out quickly.
A panel of judges will determine Birmingham’s best tacos and will pick winners for the pork, beef, chicken, and specialty taco categories, while the “People’s Choice” award will be chosen by attendees eating their way through the festival.
Event goers can pair their taco selection with delicious beverages, including ice-cold Pepsi/Buffalo Rock products, cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Bacardi Rum and Tequila Cazadores, along with refreshing Patrón Tequila margaritas and authentic Latino cervezas, including Estrella Jalisco, Famosa and more.
Additionally, attendees can indulge in sweet treats from dessert vendors.
The art market will have handmade items for sale.
The Community Arts Activities area for all ages to enjoy, free of charge until 5 p.m. will be under the shade trees near the spray pond.
Parking Information:
The Sloss field will be open to limited parking. First-come, first-served. No fees. The two lots directly across the street from the field gate are the main parking areas. Those lots are $10 to park.
Stage4Life is planning on being there at 4:00. Let us know you are coming and we will meet any Cancer Survivor and/or their Super Hero Supporter and pay your entry fee. If you are planning on coming at another time, let me know and I’ll go ahead and order the tickets on-line and will get them to you.

Coffee & Breakfast Meet-Up at 7:30am Thursday, May 15th at Edgar’s Bakery on 18th Street, Homewood, AL
Stage4Life invites you to come hang-out and partake in some caffine and breakfast. We will also pick-up the tab so any Cancer Survivor and/or their Super Hero Supporter will dine for free!
