Cookware Analysis

Well, I said I would give information on the cookware I purchased after we found about Lee’s cancer diagnosis. Researching Carraway, Cuisinart, Calaphon and Green Pan, I decided to go with Green Pan due to reviews, lifetime warranty and it also fit the budget.

I purchased the Valencia Pro Stainless Steel Cookware set. It is mirrored 3 ply stainless steel finish with thermal on 9G ceramic nonstick (which is the most advanced ceramic non stick yet).  It is free of PFAS and PFOA, has glass lids, good for all stove tops, oven safe up to 600 degrees and dishwasher safe.

For the bakeware, I purchased Green Pan Premiere Ovenware Ceramic Nonstick. These pans are also free of PFAS and PFOA, oven safe up to 600 degrees and dishwasher safe.

However, I do not wash my cookware in the dishwasher and I also use silicone utensils (the utensils were researched as well).

My best advice is to do your research to see what fits your needs, wants and budget. I love my new cookware! It cooks completely different than my 30 year old stainless steel. The hardest part was parting with all I had and starting over. But, it is worth my peace of mind and to know that it helps with a little safer way cooking and living for both Lee and myself.

Notes:

Take your time comparing the brands you are interested in.

I purchased directly from Green Pan (check the sales out and register for 1st time buyer-$50 savings).

I used Klarna so I could pay over time and still receive the products.

I used Amazon for my silicone utensils (look for rating and material used).
